As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in South Windsor, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed by site policies, and assist with logging deliveries, contractors, and other authorized traffic.

Support security-related operations by communicating clearly with staff and local responders when needed, following post orders, and completing required reports before the end of each shift.
Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

A guard card/license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
