HVAC Technician
Peter Kupchick Heating & Cooling Inc is a family owned and operated HVAC company in Fairfield, CT. We are looking for a motivated, reliable, and honest individual to join our team. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, responsible, and willing to learn.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems (i.e., refrigeration, air conditioning, heat pumps, heat exchangers, ducts, etc.)
- Perform system maintenance (i.e., replace fuses, test valves, bleed valves, refrigerant lines, etc.)
- Perform electrical system maintenance (i.e., replace switches, fixtures, outlets, etc.)
- Maintain records of all services performed and parts used for the HVAC system
- Maintain records of all work performed on the electrical system
- Assist in the installation of HVAC equipment (i.e., air handlers, chillers, ventilators etc.)and related systems (i.e., ducts)
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and systems as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Experience:
·2 years of experience in an HVAC service center or similar setting preferred
· Refrigeration experience is a plus but not required
·Heat pump experience is a plus but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $60.00 per hour
