As we continue to grow our digital presence, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Marketing E-Commerce Coordinator to join our growing eCommerce marketing team.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Junior Marketing E-Commerce Coordinator with expertise in email marketing, SMS marketing, and digital campaign management to support and execute our digital marketing initiatives across email, SMS, affiliate, and paid search channels. This is a remote/satellite position, meaning you will work independently from your own workspace while remaining closely connected to our New York-based team through regular virtual check-ins, collaborative tools, and open communication channels, while reporting to our Marketing E-Commerce Manager and Chief Marketing Officer.
This role is ideal for a self-motivated, strategically minded individual with a strong sense of visual direction who thrives in a fast-paced direct-to-consumer (DTC) environment and has hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms, email campaign management, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with our in-house Graphic Designer to bring creative campaigns to life, providing clear art direction and ensuring all digital communications are on-brand, timely, and results-driven.
Key Responsibilities
Email & SMS Marketing Program
- Collaborate with the marketing team by following the marketing and promotional calendars, ensuring all email marketing campaigns and SMS campaigns are planned, organized, and executed on schedule
- Plan and coordinate Klaviyo email campaigns, including weekly promotional email sends and automated email flows (Back-In-Stock, Loyalty, Welcome Series, Abandoned Cart, and more), providing clear art direction and creative briefs to the Graphic Designer to guide campaign visuals
- Manage email list cleaning, list segmentation, and audience A/B testing design strategies to improve email deliverability, engagement, and conversion rates
- Plan and develop SMS copy and imagery direction for on-demand SMS marketing campaigns, ensuring messaging is compelling, concise, and aligned with brand voice
- Serve as a key point of contact with our email marketing partners, coordinating the approval and execution of email campaigns, SMS campaigns, and promotional materials including countdown bars, seasonal email banners, and promotional fine print
- Brief the Graphic Designer on all creative needs, including new seasonal email banners and digital marketing assets, ensuring deliverables meet platform requirements and campaign deadlines
- Manage and review customer emails as needed. Review to support the customer review strategy and user-generated content (UGC) pipeline
- Regularly review, track, and report on email marketing KPIs and SMS performance metrics, including open rates, click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and revenue attribution, sharing actionable insights and recommendations with the team
Affiliate Marketing – The internal liaison between our external affiliate and paid search marketing management team
- Act as the internal liaison between our external affiliate and paid search marketing management team
- Coordinate and manage affiliate commission payment processing in collaboration with the finance and marketing teams
- Develop creative direction and content for affiliate marketing newsletters, partnering with the Graphic Designer to produce polished, on-brand materials for affiliate partners
Paid Search & Digital Advertising – Act as the internal liaison between our external paid search marketing management team
- Support the coordination and creative direction of Google Performance Max (PMax) banner assets, providing art direction to the Graphic Designer and ensuring final visuals meet platform specifications and brand standards before submission to our external paid search marketing partners
- Review and approve Google Ads Sitelinks and paid search ad copy for seasonal updates and promotional campaigns, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and alignment with current marketing initiatives
- Communicate campaign timelines, creative briefs, and feedback to our external paid search marketing team promptly to support seamless paid search campaign execution
Qualifications
Required
- 2–4 years of experience in an eCommerce marketing, digital marketing, or marketing coordinator role, preferably within a retail, luxury, or lifestyle brand or agency side
- Hands-on experience with Klaviyo or a comparable email marketing automation platform, including email campaign management and automated flow building
- Proven ability to develop creative briefs and provide art direction to designers, translating marketing goals into clear visual concepts
- Experience planning and writing SMS marketing copy with a strong understanding of tone, brevity, and audience targeting
- Solid understanding of email marketing best practices, including list segmentation, A/B testing, email deliverability, and list hygiene
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple digital marketing campaigns and deadlines simultaneously
- Highly self-directed and disciplined, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and remain accountable without direct in-office supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a sharp eye for detail and brand consistency
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functional remote team environment
Preferred
- Familiarity with Email Personalization Platforms
- Experience working with or managing affiliate marketing programs
- Basic knowledge of Google Ads, Performance Max campaigns, and paid search marketing fundamentals
- Understanding of eCommerce KPIs, digital marketing analytics, and performance reporting dashboards
- Experience in a luxury retail, home goods, or lifestyle brand environment
- Basic proficiency in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite as a reference tool for communicating visual direction (full design execution handled by the Graphic Designer)
- Familiarity with Shopify
- Experience with DTC (direct-to-consumer) brand marketing
Work Arrangement
This is a fully remote/satellite position. While you will not be required to report to a physical office, you are expected to:
- Be available during core business hours aligned with the Eastern Time Zone (ET)
- Participate in regular virtual team meetings and collaborative sessions
- Maintain proactive and responsive communication with the team, external partners, and vendors
- Demonstrate strong **time management** and **self-accountability** to meet deadlines and campaign schedules
