Purpose:
Operate all department production machinery in an effective and efficient manner while adhering to established standards and safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to set up all Metalform equipment.
- Demonstrate proficiency with all functions required of Operator A1 and A2.
- Provide hands-on-job function training to team members as needed.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Report production status, issues, and relative information to supervisors.
- Adhere to quality standards and requirements.
- Adhere to all safety standards including maintaining a clean and organized work area to facilitate all manufacturing functions using 5S.
- May Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum high school diploma or GED.
- 3-5 years’ experience in production operations.
- Manual dexterity with the ability to use measuring instruments i.e. micrometers, vernier’s and Go/NoGo.
- Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and cautions.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
