Position Overview:
As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Mancor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of manufacturing engineering within our metal fabrication operations. You will lead a team of skilled engineers and technicians, driving process optimization, efficiency improvements, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. This role demands a strong background in metal fabrication processes, coupled with exceptional leadership and project management skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and systems utilizing standard and advanced manufacturing and quality methodologies.
· Identify, evaluate, and mitigate technical and operational risks impacting safety, quality, delivery, cost, and overall production performance.
· Oversee troubleshooting and resolution of process, tooling, equipment, fixture, maintenance, and quality issues to ensure efficient and reliable operations.
· Manage Tool Room operations to support production, maintenance, and engineering requirements.
· Direct APQP activities and documentation, including FMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP, ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry standards.
· Analyze process failures, scrap, downtime, and machine/tool performance; lead root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (internal and external).
· Ensure adherence to customer-specific requirements and proper control of non-conforming product.
· Develop and maintain work instructions, manufacturing documentation, reports, and supporting systems to drive consistency and operational excellence.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, maintenance, quality, and management teams to resolve machining and manufacturing challenges.
· Provide technical leadership and serve as the primary resource for manufacturing and quality-related matters.
· Mentor and develop engineers, technicians, and interns; ensure understanding of customer requirements, associated risks, and improvement opportunities.
· Support capital projects through technical evaluation, recommendations, and implementation guidance.
· Ensure compliance with the company’s Quality Policy, Quality Management System (QMS), and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Promote a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and alignment with organizational mission, vision, and values.
· Complete required training and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
· Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, with a focus on metal fabrication processes, or equivalent.
· Strong technical expertise in welding, machining, forming, and other metal fabrication techniques.
· Proven track record of leading and managing engineering teams to achieve performance goals and objectives.
· Experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
· Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and proficiency in reading engineering drawings and specifications.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
· Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with mixed model production.
· Knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulations related to metal fabrication (e.g., AWS, ASME, ISO).
· Familiarity with Robotic or CNC programming and operation.
· Project management certification (e.g., PMP) or equivalent experience.

Pay: $105,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
