Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly attitude.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS system
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring proper presentation and quality.
- Process sales transactions accurately while upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and food handling.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, wine pairings, and beverage options to elevate the guest experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any customer concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings.
- Experience with cocktail preparation, spirits, wine knowledge, and beverage service.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest relations.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and process sales efficiently.
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus but not required; a passion for food industry standards is essential.
