Join a team that turns complex machining work into predictable, on‑time outcomes. You’ll blend commercial savvy with technical depth—owning cost models in SAP, shaping routings that reflect reality on the floor, and coordinating materials and capacity to keep commitments firm.
- Quoting & Data Integrity: Maintain accurate cost estimates, material masters, BOMs, and routings in SAP. Review actuals vs. plan after each job and refine standards, lot sizes, and safety stock for future accuracy.
- Supplier/OSP Coordination: Request and compare quotes from outside service providers for new and existing processes.
- Capacity‑Aware Planning: Provide lead times; analyze and confirm sales orders using SAP/FastPro against real‑world capacity and material positions.
- Order Execution: Create production orders, review new bookings, and communicate critical dates to stakeholders while setting priorities with the Production Scheduler and Production Manager.
- Exception Management: Triage exception messages, remove roadblocks, and resolve schedule conflicts before they ripple.
- Floor Enablement: Coordinate fixtures, tooling, CNC/CMM programs, and process documentation; drive revision changes and ensure every tool, drawing, and record reflects the latest design.
- Continuous Improvement: Advance process optimization and cost reduction initiatives, following through on NPI to validate master data and schedules.
- Communication Hub: Be Sales’ point of contact for delivery promises, order status, and schedule changes; keep internal teams aligned and informed on materials and job status.
- Compliance & Records: Uphold ISO/AS9100 across estimating, planning, and scheduling for ITAR/EAR‑related work; support procedure documentation and maintain document control in SAP and companion systems.
