A Glimpse of the Job
The Master of Science in Marketing Program is seeking a Director to provide strategic leadership and oversight for both the in-person and online graduate programs. As a key leader within the nationally recognized Department of Marketing at Mays Business School, this role is responsible for recruiting and retaining high-potential students and strengthening the program’s reputation. The ideal candidate brings experience building and growing successful graduate programs, coupled with strong organizational, communication, and relationship-management skills. The Director will lead day-to-day program operations, collaborate with faculty and stakeholders, and serve as a trusted resource for current and prospective students. This role calls for a detail-oriented, student-focused professional who thrives in a dynamic academic environment and is passionate about delivering excellence in graduate education. What You Need to Know
Salary: $100,000 - $109,000/annually ( Compensation will be commensurate to the selected hire’s experience).

Please note this is a fully on-site position located in College Station, TX.
This position will supervise a Program Manager and Graduate Program Coordinator – 2 employees.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ten years of related experience in management, graduate degree program administration, board management, or higher education
A Well-Qualified Candidate Will Also Possess:
Master’s degree in applicable field such as Business Administration, Marketing, or related.
TAMU systems or higher education experience.
Student recruitment experience.
Graduate degree program development experience.
Board management experience.
Effective ability to build graduate degree programs in higher education.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to ensure understanding.
Opportunities to Contribute
Program Management
Responsible for program planning, including planning and executing curricular and co-curricular activities.
Engages with industry and program partners to create educational and employment opportunities for students and ensure the success of both the in-person and online programs.
Oversees student enrollment, course scheduling, and program evaluation.
Works with faculty to design and update curriculum for both in-person and online programs.
Implements mechanisms to ensure the quality of education in both in-person and online formats such as monitoring student performance, assessing course effectiveness, and maintaining accreditation standards.
Manages budgets for both in-person and online programs, including allocating resources effectively and identifying opportunities for cost-saving measures.
Monitors trends in higher education, online learning, and relevant industries to identify opportunities for program enhancement and innovation.
Supervises program staff to achieve the goals of the unit and mission of the department.
Student Admission and Recruitment
Develops and implements strategies to attract and enroll students in both in-person and online programs, including marketing efforts, outreach activities, and admissions processes.
Works with the admissions committee to manage applications and admissions.
Manages student progress toward degree.
Student Support
Provides support to students enrolled in both in-person and online programs, including academic advising, career counseling, and access to resources.
