9:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Sunday-Thursday
Job Duties: (Training will be provided as needed)
· 1 to 2 years experience on a Trumpf Laser
· Monitoring of machine operation
· Identify and pull programs from database
· Troubleshoot material and equipment issues
· Communicate production schedule with material handling
· Perform light preventive maintenance and machine upkeep
· Check parts with templates and or measure parts to specifications using tools such as a tape measure and a square
· Recognize and report defective materials, faulty workmanship, faulty equipment operation and questionable conditions to proper supervision
· Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced, for completing and submitting production reports and other records as required; for maintaining work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and for following all safety rules and regulations
· Perform any and all tasks assigned by group leader/supervisor
Required Skills:
· Must be 18 years of age or older
· Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis
· Must be able to use both hands/arms to lift parts
· Must be able to occasionally bend, stoop, squat, climb stairs, or kneel
· Must be able to stand for the duration of an 8-hour or more shift
· Must be able to work 9:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, plus occasional overtime
· Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol pre-employment screening
Desired Skills:
· Program/set up machines
· Read blueprints
· Confer with engineering, technical or manufacturing personnel
· Read technical drawings
· Understand technical operating manuals
· Use computers to enter, access or retrieve data
