Job Summary
Express Employment Professionals, Atlanta NE location is seeking a dedicated CDL-B Driver and Warehouse Distribution Associate to join a growing team in the Tucker/Stone Mountain area. This role combines professional driving responsibilities with warehouse duties, ensuring the efficient delivery and distribution of freight across designated routes. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License Class B, along with experience operating various vehicle types such as flatbeds & dump trucks. This position plays a vital role in maintaining timely deliveries, safe transportation, and accurate inventory handling to support our operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a CDL-B vehicle to deliver materials, supplies, and equipment
- Inspect loads to ensure cargo is secure and compliant with safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and follow delivery instructions
- Load and unload materials using equipment or manual methods (lift/hand truck)
- Assist with order pulling, packing, and general warehouse duties as needed
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License Class B with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission preferred.
- Proven truck driving experience with knowledge of route planning and delivery procedures.
- Familiarity with operating various vehicle types, including flatbeds, dump trucks, and
- Experience in freight handling, load & unload processes, and warehouse logistics.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards for commercial driving.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Physical Requirements

Hours: Monday-Friday 6 a.m.- 5p.m.
