CONTENT PRODUCER / SHOOTER-EDITOR
Sherwood, OR · Full-time, On-Site · Off-Road & Overland
Capture Ironman 4x4 in the real world — and turn that footage into content that ships.
This is a builder's role for a shooter-editor. Not just camera. Not just edits. You shoot, cut, organize, repurpose, and help build the content engine behind a growing off-road and overland brand.
If you see a trail, an install, a customer rig, a camp setup, or a half-finished idea and immediately think about the shot, the hook, the story, and the edit — this should feel exciting.
THE ROLE
You'll help own the creative production engine for Ironman 4x4 North America: field and studio capture, short-form editing, long-form support, product education, install and field proof, customer stories, dealer and collaboration assets, UGC packaging, library organization, and AI-assisted repurposing.
You'll work closely with the Content & Community Lead, product experts, ecommerce, sales, dealers, and leadership to turn validated ideas into content that ships.
This is a hands-on production role. You build the engine and run the camera.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Shoot and edit Reels, Shorts, product education, installs, field proof, customer stories, and dealer/collaboration assets
Turn each shoot into multiple platform-native cuts — hooks, intros, captions, cutdowns, variants by channel and buyer stage
Capture Ironman products working in the real world: trucks, trails, installs, trips, customer rigs, comparisons
Support long-form when needed — YouTube, product education, trip content, deeper category stories
Package customer proof and approved UGC into useful assets
Maintain an organized, searchable content library so footage doesn't disappear after one post
Use AI and modern tools for transcript mining, clip ID, caption variants, rough cuts, tagging, and repurposing
Protect technical accuracy in coordination with product experts
Keep capture, editing, publishing, and learning connected with the Content & Community Lead
YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS
A reliable weekly production rhythm running
A clear workflow with the Content & Community Lead and product experts
A usable, searchable content library structure in place
A repeatable system for turning one shoot into many assets
A growing bank of product education, customer proof, and short-form content
A faster editing and repurposing workflow using tools and AI where it helps
Clear standards for what good Ironman 4x4 content looks and feels like
HOW WE MEASURE IT
We care about content that helps the customer and supports the business: production volume and on-time delivery, retention and watch time, saves and shares, real field and customer proof, product accuracy, and assets per shoot. Speed without sloppiness, taste without ego. Views matter — but views alone aren't the scoreboard.
OUR VALUES
INTEGRITY We make accurate product claims. We don't fake proof or overstate what the gear does. If we don't know something, we ask.
GRIT This is real production work: early starts, imperfect conditions, dusty gear, changing plans, long edits. You keep moving.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT Every shoot, edit, hook, cut, and caption can get better. We want someone who studies the work and improves the system each week.
SERVICE Content should help the customer decide. The production system should help the team move faster and use assets well.
EXECUTION Ideas don't matter if nothing ships. Capture, edit, organize, deliver, and keep the rhythm moving.
OWNERSHIP You own the quality and reliability of the production lane. Missing footage, messy files, late edits, a shoot that needs a better plan — you help solve it.
YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF YOU
Have experience shooting and editing short-form content
Can run a camera and think like an editor
Understand hooks, pacing, retention, and why the first few seconds matter
Love the outdoors, vehicles, gear, overlanding, and 4x4 — or are genuinely hungry to learn
Can make product education feel useful and watchable
Can turn one shoot into multiple pieces of content
Are organized enough to manage files, footage, versions, and asset libraries
Are comfortable with feedback and iteration
Use AI and tools to move faster without letting the work go generic
Take pride in both the shot and the system behind it
THIS ISN'T THE ROLE IF YOU
Only want to shoot and not edit — or only edit and not capture
Need perfect briefs before you can start
Aren't interested in trucks, trails, gear, customers, or enthusiast communities
Care more about cinematic polish than useful content that helps customers
Dislike organizing files, tagging assets, and building a reusable library
Are uncomfortable taking feedback from product, ecommerce, sales, or leadership
Don't want to use AI or tools to speed up repetitive work
Chase trends without understanding the customer or the product
Struggle with follow-through, deadlines, or direct communication
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
A creator-builder. Someone who can shoot in the field, edit with pace, organize the assets, and keep improving the system. Someone who knows a good install clip, a customer rig walkaround, a product comparison, or a trail moment can become more than one post when it's captured and organized well — and who turns Ironman 4x4 products, customers, dealers, and field proof into content people actually trust. Taste, grit, speed, curiosity, and a real interest in the outdoors.
