We are seeking a Robotics and STEM teacher to lead and support a range of hands-on, student-centered programs in our high school. Responsibilities will include:
- Leading our school’s Robotics Club, supporting students in building, coding, and
refining their work
- Preparing and guiding a team in the annual CIJE robotics competition
- Teaching STEM electives for 9th and 10th grade
- Contributing to project-based learning initiatives across the school
- Supporting student participation in programs such as Shark Tank-style projects,
helping them develop and present ideas
Qualifications and Skills:
- Warm, enthusiastic educator committed to a growth mindset.
- Background in STEM (engineering, robotics, computer science, or a related field)
- Ability to guide students through multi-step projects and collaborative work
- Comfort with both technical instruction and open-ended problem-solving
- Open to or trained in student-centered learning techniques.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- BA in Education or Science.
- MA in Education and/or Science Education preferred, or enrollment in a master’s
program in any STEM-related field.
- 1-3 years teaching experience preferred.
