Purpose: The Repair Technician serves as a skilled service professional for Anderson Air, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential HVAC systems. This role ensures customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service, identifying system issues, and recommending effective solutions for repair or replacement.
Roles/Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on residential HVAC systems

Troubleshoot system issues and determine appropriate solutions

Complete service calls efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship

Communicate clearly with customers regarding system conditions and repair options

Ensure all work complies with company standards and safety regulations

Maintain accurate service records, job notes, and parts usage

Keep company vehicle stocked, clean, and organized

Collaborate with dispatch and sales teams for scheduling and follow-up opportunities

Participate in ongoing training to stay current with HVAC technology and best practices

Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers

Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

Work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends as needed
Qualifications:

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Experience in HVAC service and repair preferred

EPA certification required

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Ability to work independently in the field

Strong communication and customer service skills

Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and diagnostics

Ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks efficiently
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (tools, equipment, parts)

Ability to work in confined spaces, attics, crawlspaces, and rooftops

Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods

Comfortable working in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, humidity)

Ability to safely operate tools and equipment required for HVAC repair
Compensation:

$24/hour base pay
