Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Floor Assistant to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be the friendly face that ensures smooth daily operations on the floor, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service and efficient support.

Business Hours:
Thurs- 6:00pm-11:00pm
Fri- 7:00pm-4:00am
Sat- 7:00pm-4:00am
Sun- 3:00pm-8:00pm and 11:00pm-4:00am
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements or host/hostess duties to ensure a positive first impression
- Support food preparation activities, including basic meal assembly and ingredient handling, following food safety standards
- Clear tables promptly by bussing and cleaning to maintain a tidy dining area
- Take accurate orders from guests using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication between the kitchen and front of house
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service and in-person guest interactions
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Assist with dishwashing, cleaning, and maintaining overall sanitation of the dining area and kitchen stations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, including host/hostess roles or catering experience
- Familiarity with food handling, beverage preparation, dishwashing, and basic cooking techniques
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and guest relations abilities
- Experience with banquet service, catering events, or hotel hospitality is a plus
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for order processing and cash handling accurately
- Prior experience in customer service roles that involve in-person interaction and guest engagement
