We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Parts Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of automotive parts to various locations, including dealerships, repair shops, and collision centers. You will play a key role in maintaining inventory flow, ensuring parts arrive in perfect condition, and representing Audi's commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load, transport, and unload automotive parts using company vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Verify orders for accuracy before departure and upon delivery, including checking part numbers, quantities, and condition.
- Maintain delivery schedules to meet deadlines, optimizing routes for efficiency using GPS and mapping tools.
- Interact professionally with customers, dealership staff, and vendors, providing excellent service and addressing any immediate concerns.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks (e.g., fluid levels, tire pressure) and report any issues to the parts manager.
- Assist in the parts warehouse as needed, including picking, packing, and inventory tasks during downtime.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and any incidents via logs or apps.
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, including maintaining a clean driving record.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50-75 lbs repeatedly and operate material handling equipment (e.g., dollies, hand trucks).
- Some geographical knowledge of the local area and proficiency with navigation apps (e.g., Google Maps, Waze).
- Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Must pass a background check, drug screening, and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review.
Physical Demands
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and driving for extended periods.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions and warehouse environments.
