Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Research Coordinator to join our dynamic research team. Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of clinical trials, including patient recruitment, informed consent processes, and patient monitoring to ensure compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Manage laboratory experiments involving tissue culture, protein purification, Western blotting, ELISA assays, PCR, flow cytometry, and microscopy techniques.
- Review and maintain accurate documentation of research data, laboratory procedures, and regulatory documentation in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and FDA regulations.
- Conduct molecular biology experiments such as transfection, PCR analysis, and chromatography to support research objectives.
- Oversee sample collection, processing, storage, and analysis while ensuring adherence to HIPAA privacy standards for patient information.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design experiments, analyze data using R, SAS, Python, or other statistical software packages.
- Ensure laboratory safety protocols are strictly followed and maintain compliance with institutional policies related to animal physiology studies when applicable.
- Assist in preparing reports for regulatory submissions and scientific publications by reviewing data accuracy and completeness.
Experience
- Prior experience in a research laboratory setting with hands-on expertise in cell biology techniques such as mammalian cell culture, transfection, tissue culture maintenance, and cell-based assays.
- Demonstrated knowledge of molecular biology methods including PCR, Western blotting, chromatography, ELISA, flow cytometry, and assay development.
- Familiarity with clinical trial procedures and regulatory frameworks including ICH GCP guidelines and FDA regulations is essential.
- Experience working with biological samples involving tissue culture or animal physiology is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software such as SAS or R along with programming skills in Python are advantageous.
- Strong documentation review skills combined with meticulous attention to detail for data integrity and compliance purposes.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy combined with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently.
