About the Role
We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented Assistant Manager to support daily operations at Henrietta Red in Germantown. This position is ideal for an experienced hospitality professional who is ready to take the next step in their management career. The ideal candidate is highly organized, guest-focused, and eager to lead a team in one of Nashville's most celebrated dining destinations.
Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager and FOH Team in overseeing daily restaurant operations
- Supervise and motivate front-of-house and back-of-house staff during assigned shifts
- Ensure consistent delivery of service standards and guest experience expectations, through training and management
- Assist with scheduling, onboarding, training, and performance management of team members
- Handle guest concerns and service recovery with professionalism and urgency
- Monitor floor operations, table flow, and service pacing during peak service
- Assist with ordering, inventory management, and operational administrative tasks
- Assist with internal events and promotions as requested by the events manager
- Open and close the restaurant in accordance with established procedures
- Ensure compliance with Tennessee health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
- Serve as a leadership resource and culture carrier for our team
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of restaurant management or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of both front-of-house service and general restaurant operations
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team with professionalism, energy, and accountability
- Valid alcohol service certifications
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic scheduling tools
Preferred
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktails
- Familiarity with P&L management, labor cost control, and inventory systems
- Prior experience with OpenTable, Toast, and similar hospitality platforms

Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($65,000-75,000 Based on Experience)
