We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated RN/LPN to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to people in various settings, including home and community care. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in patient assessment, triage, and delivering essential medical services while ensuring the comfort and well-being of those under your care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess patients' health status and needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform catheterization and assist with other medical procedures.
- Provide triage services to prioritize patient care based on urgency.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate people and their families on health management and home care practices.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Support patients in outpatient settings, ensuring a smooth transition from hospital medicine or emergency room care.
Qualifications
- Valid RN/ Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in South Dakota.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to nursing practice.
- Experience in home community care or outpatient nursing is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform essential nursing tasks with attention to detail and compassion.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and teamwork.
