CareFamily is seeking experienced, CNA-trained caregivers for private, high-end family placements throughout the San Diego area, including La Jolla, Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, Coronado, Carmel Valley, Point Loma, and more! ABOUT THE JOB:
This is not facility work. As a private caregiver, you will work in one family's home, providing dedicated, one-on-one care to a single client. You may assist with:
- Bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
- Mobility, transfers, and repositioning
- Meal preparation and medication reminders
- Transportation, errands, and appointments
- Companionship and household support related to care
- Maintaining a calm, safe, and professional home environment
The benefits of private caregiving include:
- Pay of $20–$30 per hour, with many full-time roles eligible for overtime
- The opportunity to earn up to $150,000 annually working extended hours
- Consistent, full-time schedules: 12-hour or live-in rotations

ABOUT CAREFAMILY
CareFamily is a concierge referral agency. We introduce CNA-trained caregivers to families looking to hire privately, where trust, judgment, and presentation matter. Families hire caregivers directly or through the household, and they expect a high standard of professionalism, discretion, reliability, and care. This role is best for caregivers who see caregiving as a career, not a stepping-stone job.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- CNA certification or higher (expired certification is okay)
- At least 3 years of caregiving experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong judgment, discretion, and professionalism
- Clean background check and strong references
- Experience working privately with families preferred
- Reliable, polished, and comfortable working in high-standard homes.
