Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and dedicated Caregivers to join our team for evening shifts. In this vital role, you will provide personalized in-home care that promotes safety, comfort, and dignity for our clients. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patients’ health by observing vital signs and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary
- Administer medication following care plans and ensure proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Support clients with dementia or memory care needs through engaging activities and safe environment management
- Maintain a clean and safe living space by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry
- Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident’s personal assistive devices to ensure safe transfers and mobility
Skills
- Proven experience in home care, assisted living, nursing home settings, or group homes is highly desirable
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques and vital signs monitoring
- Certification in First Aid and CPR; training in Alzheimer's care, dementia care, or hospice care is a plus
- Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism with patience and understanding
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility needs safely
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality at all times
