Job Summary:
We are seeking a Concrete Laborer with experience in various phases of concrete work, including site preparation, pouring, and finishing. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and dependable individual, along with being a team player who takes pride in the structural integrity of our homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists in the placement and finishing of concrete for footers.
- Sets up and dismantles forms (wood or plastic formadrain) according to blueprints and layout specifications.
- Spreads, levels, and smooths concrete using rakes, shovels.
- Operates machinery and tools necessary to complete the work.
- Positions reinforcement materials including rebar, wire mesh, and anchor bolts to ensure structural stability.
- Studies specifications in blueprints or sketches to prepare project layouts and determine necessary material quantities.
- Follows established safety rules and regulations, ensuring a clean and hazard-free working environment.
- Cleans and maintains tools and equipment to ensure longevity and readiness for the next job.
- Moves necessary materials (gravel, concrete, forms) around the jobsite as assigned.
- Cleans up worksite debris and ensures the site is professional upon completion of the task.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Prior experience in concrete construction or general construction preferred.
- Capable of receiving and following instructions and communicating effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
- Physically able to perform heavy lifting, kneeling, and standing for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Able to read and adhere to labels, safety warnings, and guidelines.
- Attentive to detail and always alert to ensure safety on the jobsite.
