Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manufacturing Production Manager to lead and optimize our manufacturing operations. Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of manufacturing production, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal resource utilization.
- Develop and implement production plans aligned with company objectives, utilizing ERP systems such as SAP and MRP tools for scheduling and inventory management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles and process optimization techniques to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Establish & monitor key performance indicators related to quality control, supply chain management, and operations management to identify areas for enhancement.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to analyze supply chain analytics, streamline processes, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
- Foster a safety-conscious environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular safety audits across the manufacturing plant.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, with strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms, including proficiency with MRP modules for production planning.
- Solid understanding of lean manufacturing methodologies, process improvement strategies, and quality control standards.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in plant management and operations management roles.
- Ability to analyze supply chain data and utilize supply chain management tools for strategic decision-making.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage cross-functional collaboration, and drive operational excellence.
- Strong communication skills paired with a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation in manufacturing settings.
- 10+ years manager experience with 5 years in the United States.
- Spanish is a plus
