I Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our fast-paced pizzeria and Italian restaurant. The ideal candidate is someone who can keep up with the flow during busy lunch and dinner rushes, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and work well with our kitchen team.
Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pizza trays, pans, and cooking equipment according to health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dish area, including sinks, floors, drains, and garbage
- Empty trash and recycling throughout the shift as needed
- Assist cooks and prep staff by keeping clean dishes stocked and ready
- Help with basic food prep or kitchen tasks when required
- Break down boxes and maintain organization in the back-of-house
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
- Communicate with kitchen staff to keep the flow moving smoothly
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced pizzeria environment
- Must be punctual, responsible, and able to stand for long periods
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs (pizza trays, sauce pots, etc.)
- Previous experience in a restaurant is a plus, but not required
- Team-player mentality and a positive attitude
Schedule:
Flexible shifts available — days, nights, and weekends.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly pay, based on experience, with opportunities to grow within the restaurant.
