Summary
Support the Operations Audit team in planning, scheduling, and executing audits across various operational processes. Coordinate audit activities, tracking the status of audit findings, assisting in data collection, and ensuring that all audit documentation is completed and organized. Act as a central point of contact between the Operations Audit Manager, Operations Auditors, and various departments, ensuring smooth communication and efficient audit processes.
Responsibilities
- Audit Scheduling & Coordination: Assist the Operations Audit Manager & Auditors in planning and scheduling audit engagements. Coordinate audit timelines, meetings, and follow-up sessions with relevant stakeholders across departments.
- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date audit documentation, including audit plans, working papers, reports, resources, and findings. Ensure all files are well-organized and accessible for future reference.
- Data Collection & Analysis: Support the audit process by gathering data, conducting initial analysis, and preparing information for review by the Operations Audit Manager and/or Auditor. Coordinate with departments to obtain necessary documentation and data.
- Communication: Serve as a contact between the Operations Audit Manager and/or Auditor and other departments. Facilitate effective communication to ensure audit requirements, timelines, and expectations are understood.
- Tracking & Follow-Up: Monitor the status of audit findings, recommendations, and corrective actions. Follow up with relevant departments to ensure recommendations are implemented in a timely manner.
- Report Preparation: Assist in drafting and formatting audit reports, summaries, and presentations for management review. Ensure reports are clear, accurate, and delivered within established deadlines.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline the audit process, improve documentation practices, and enhance communication between the audit team and other departments.
- Compliance: Ensure all audit activities comply with internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. Support the Operations Audit Manager and/or Auditor in maintaining compliance with audit standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- Six months experience in an audit or operations environment
- Six months experience in an administrative, auditing, or project coordination role.
- One year experience in the medical/pharmacy field.
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Demonstrated good moral character and temperate habits.
- Demonstrated experience of being dependable and trustworthy in situations dealing with confidential data.
