TASTE! Craft Eatery in Carlsbad is OPENING and we are hiring skilled and enthusiastic Servers, Bartenders, Hosts & Support Staff to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will have commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As part of teamTASTE, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable experience. Your ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanor is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent Customer Service! Welcoming guests, offering menu recommendations, and answering questions about ingredients or preparations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area along with your other team members.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about our food & drink selections.
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring all orders are accounted for.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- In depth knowledge of both food and drink menus.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages.
Experience
- We are hiring for ALL Front of House positions!
- Previous serving experience in a restaurant or bar is required for server and bartender positions.
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of common allergens is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations gracefully.
- Experience in the food industry is beneficial.
- A passion for people and willingness to learn.
