Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. This position requires a strong work ethic, the ability to work collaboratively on an assembly line, and proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
Duties
- Assemble products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues during the packing process.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and pallets in the warehouse setting.
- Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring all packing materials are readily available.
- Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to meet production goals.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Perform routine inspections of packed products to ensure quality control before shipment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with assembly line processes is advantageous.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is required; experience with forklifts is a plus.
- Ability to effectively use hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed within the warehouse environment.
- Excellent teamwork skills, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
