Join our Aerospace dynamic logistics team as a Shipper and become a vital part of our shipping operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient shipping and receiving processes, supporting order fulfillment, and maintaining smooth stock distribution using our computer ERP system. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers. Our company manufactures small machined mechanical parts most packaged boxes weigh less than 25 lbs. Structured wage and review system with Multi grade and step levels for pay increase opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products accurately using Epicor ERP computer system scanners and computerized counting machines.
- Properly package parts using correct boxes, padding, cell dividers and corrosion protections as needed.
- Perform housekeeping for work area including cleaning and maintaining a highly organized 5S work bench.
- Receive incoming stock from outside process vendors for special processes such as passivation, heat treating and other parts processes performed by third party suppliers.
- Handle RMA (return material authorization) receipts in Epicor computer.
- Conduct quality checks on packages to ensure proper packaging standards are met for safe delivery
- Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing, and inventory control techniques
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for weight measurements, quantities, and measurements
- Excellent physical stamina to lift up to 30 lb packages regularly.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow detailed instructions. Pay: $18.50 - $19.30 per hour
