Job Overview
We are seeking a Lead Ambassador to represent the Alsies ice cream truck and bring joy to our communities. The Lead Ambassador will lead our 1) social media promotions and 2) direct community outreach, for the purpose of bringing awareness to our menu of delicious gourmet, classic, pops, and specialty treats. The Lead Ambassador must be professional and passionate about booking events and driving our tech-enabled Alsies ice cream trucks. The Lead Ambassador is an important role in our emerging business with tremendous growth potential, all while bringing joy to our communities.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute promotional and marketing activities to our existing and potential customers in our communities: schools, sports clubs, churches, local companies, event leaders & organizers, etc.
- Engage with and bring awareness to our existing and potential customers on how Alsies ice cream can add joy to their events: fundraisers, festivals, corporate events, schools, birthday parties, etc.
- Showcase our menu of delicious gourmet, classic, pops, and specialty treats.
- Utilize our existing social media platform to promote Alsies ice cream brand initiatives, share updates, and engage with followers.
- Provide ambassador level service selling delicious gourmet, classic, pops, and specialty treats at customer events and ice cream truck routes.
- Collect data on customer interactions, address inquiries, and solve issues promptly.
- Manage and train future Ambassadors to deliver customer events (fundraisers, festivals, corporate events, schools, birthday parties, etc.) and ice cream truck routes in our communities.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to articulate our ice cream products clearly.
- Experience in food service or customer service is preferred.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with event marketing principles and practices.
- Proficiency in social media management for effective online engagement.
- Ability to collect and analyze data to inform marketing decisions.
- Sales experience is advantageous for driving product interest and conversions.
- A positive attitude while promoting inclusivity within the community.
