Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble meals according to established recipes and portion sizes
- Follow food safety protocols to maintain cleanliness, proper food handling, and sanitation standards
- Use knife skills and culinary techniques to chop, slice, dice, and cook ingredients efficiently
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food and ensuring timely service
- Maintain organized workstations, properly store ingredients, and manage inventory levels
Requirements
- Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within restaurant or food industry settings
- Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety practices
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques
- Experience with food service operations, including serving customers or clients
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Familiarity with catering procedures and large-scale meal production is a plus
