Overview :
The Lead Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of a shift at a client site. Experience in the automotive Tier 1 industry is highly desirable but not required. Experience in LEAN/5S principles is required. Support of strategic projects, including some administrative tasks, may be required periodically to further develop the client partnership.

Essential Job Functions
- Directly supervise a team of group leads and associates on multiple production lines assigning and providing feedback on performance.
- Responsible for shift performance metrics/KPIs in Production, Quality, and Safety.
- Ensure all Production Line reporting for Quality and Production processes are completed and verified.
- Attend Client Production Meetings to provide updates on Production, Quality, and Safety metrics.
- Perform Root Cause/5Y analysis to determine reason(s) for production downtime and NPR issues.
- Ensure associate compliance with 5S initiatives.
- Oversee, and complete daily shift check-in and operations reporting to ensure that each shift is properly staffed.
- Assist in associate training/mentoring.
- Assist the Production Manager in completing regular safety checks and accident reports
Education/Experience
- High School diploma or GED
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a Production/Manufacturing environment
- Lean, 5S experience required
- Experience in the Automotive Industry is highly desirable but not required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills required
- Knowledge of MS Office software: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Salary Range: $29.22 - $43.83 per hour, depending on experience and geographic location.
