Overview
Innovative Designs is looking for a dependable, hands-on individual to join our team as a Facilities & Production Support Technician.
This is a versatile position that plays an important role in keeping our facility, equipment, and day-to-day operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong work ethic, is mechanically inclined, and can confidently take on a variety of tasks.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the exterior of our facility, including mowing and general grounds upkeep
- Operate a company pickup with a snow plow for winter snow removal
- Build and modify production tables, workstations, and other shop fixtures
- Perform basic preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machinery and other production equipment
- Assist with general facility maintenance and repairs
- Perform janitorial duties, including cleaning and maintaining bathrooms and common areas
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Assist the production team with miscellaneous projects and facility needs as they arise
Qualifications
- Reliable and dependable with strong attendance
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take on a variety of responsibilities
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with basic tools
- Ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to safely operate a pickup truck with a snow plow
- Previous experience with maintenance, construction, manufacturing, CNC equipment, or facility operations is a plus
