Key Responsibilities
- Routine & Preventative Maintenance: Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on rooms, equipment, and core facility systems to maximize efficiency and longevity.
- Inspections: Conduct regular walkthroughs of buildings, systems, and equipment to identify and resolve issues before they become major problems.
- Repairs & Diagnostics: Perform general repairs, including basic electrical and plumbing work. Use tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic testing equipment to assess electrical components.
- Service Requests: Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests from staff and residents/guests, ensuring high satisfaction.
- Safety & Organization: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workshop and workspace in strict accordance with safety regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Proven experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or a related trade.
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of basic electrical and plumbing systems, with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues.
- Tools: Familiarity and comfort using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, self-motivation, and a proactive approach to facility care.
- Communication: Excellent communication and customer service skills; comfortable working independently and collaborating with a team.
- License: Valid Driver's License required.
