Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of food items with attention to quality, presentation, and safety standards.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for transactions, sales, and upselling opportunities.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling and basic math accuracy.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food prep zones in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist with food industry tasks such as bussing tables, food handling, and food safety practices to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Support team members in food preparation, stocking supplies, and ensuring quick service in a fast-food or café setting.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or retail environments is preferred; experience working in quick service or fast-food restaurants is highly valued.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Strong skills in food preparation, cashiering, and customer service are essential for success in this role.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math are required to ensure accurate transactions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining high-quality service standards.
