Hotel Maintenance & Property Associate
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking team member to help maintain the overall cleanliness, appearance, and daily operation of the hotel property. This position involves both indoor and outdoor responsibilities including property upkeep, room inspections, basic maintenance, and guest service support.
Responsibilities
- Walk the property regularly to maintain cleanliness and appearance
- Pick up trash and debris around the hotel grounds
- Clean windows, entry doors, sidewalks, stairways, and common areas
- Blow dirt and leaves from parking lots and walkways
- Cut grass and help maintain landscaping areas
- Clean and maintain the pool area
- Remove pet waste from designated areas
- Perform basic room maintenance and minor repairs
- Inspect guest rooms after housekeeping completes cleaning to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met
- Report housekeeping issues, maintenance problems, or damages to management
- Assist with checking guests out when needed
- Respond to guest requests in a professional and friendly manner
- Help keep storage, maintenance, and work areas organized
- Monitor the property throughout the day and report safety concerns
Requirements
- Must be reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
- Ability to perform physical work including walking, lifting, bending, and working outdoors
- Basic maintenance knowledge preferred
- Good attention to detail
- Positive attitude and teamwork skills
- Hotel experience is preferred but not required
Schedule
- Full time or part time available
- Weekends and holidays may be required
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
