Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service.
- Assist guests in selecting products that fit their tastes and needs.
- Utilize retail math skills to accurately process transactions and manage inventory.
- Communicate product features and benefits effectively to customers.
- Stock shelves and ensure inventory is full and organized
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase items and encourage purchases.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Demonstrate willingness to learn about cigars and spirits to better serve customers.
- Support and embody a positive store culture grounded in honesty, integrity, and respect.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers
- Basic understanding of retail math for transaction processing.
- Ability to sell effectively while demonstrating product knowledge.
- A friendly demeanor with a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Comfortable using a POS system
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
