Overview
The Youth Intervention Lead Specialist provides day-to-day operational leadership for MACG's ROAR youth intervention programming in both school-based and community-based settings. This role is designed for an experienced practitioner who can lead from the front, support staff, build strong relationships with youth and community partners, and help ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day implementation of ROAR programming in schools and throughout the community.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and day-to-day accountability for intervention staff, credible messengers, and youth engagement staff.
- Maintain a direct caseload of high-risk youth as needed.
- Coordinate referrals from schools, juvenile probation, law enforcement, families, and community partners.
- Facilitate case reviews and intervention planning with staff.
- Ensure documentation, case notes, data entry, and program compliance are completed accurately and on time.
- Support parent and family engagement efforts.
- Participate in crisis response, conflict mediation, and youth intervention efforts as appropriate.
- Build and maintain relationships with school administrators, probation officers, community organizations, and other referral partners.
- Work collaboratively with Jordan, Sharmina, Keanu, and the Program Integration Team to ensure consistency, accountability, communication, and high-quality program implementation.
- Assist with training, onboarding, scheduling, and supporting intervention staff as needed.
- Monitor participant engagement, retention, and overall program outcomes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of experience working with high-risk youth, violence prevention, juvenile justice, youth development, behavioral health, or a related field.
- Experience supervising or leading small teams.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Knowledge of school systems and juvenile justice processes.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent lived and professional experience will be strongly considered.

Pay: Up to $55,000.00 per year
