Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen environment. Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods.
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing food service areas as needed.
- Support food preparation tasks such as basic chopping or ingredient setup when required.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper storage of clean items.
- Follow food handling and safety procedures to prevent contamination.
- Assist with general cleaning duties within the kitchen and dining areas to uphold sanitation standards.
- Support catering events or banquet setups by providing clean dishware and assisting with service needs.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience with bussing, food preparation, or catering is a plus.
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures and maintaining sanitation standards is advantageous.
- Prior kitchen experience including culinary or food handling skills can enhance performance in this role. This position requires a team-oriented individual committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in hospitality or food service settings is beneficial for success in this role.
