Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Technician (BT) to join our growing team. The RBT/BT will work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. This role focuses on supporting clients in achieving their personal goals and improving their quality of life through effective behavior management strategies.

Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and self-care skills.
- Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with medical records standards.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide support and education regarding behavior management techniques.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress, challenges, and strategies for improvement.
- Provide support in special education settings as needed, working collaboratively with educators and other professionals.
- Utilize medical terminology appropriately when documenting care plans and client interactions.
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred.
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and techniques is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a client-centered approach.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine interest in supporting individuals' growth and development.
- Flexible availability for afternoon and early evening shifts
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field (preferred but not required)
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Proficiency in Spanish (preferred)
- RBT certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds

Pay Rate: $23-$29 per hour
· Compensation for mileage and travel time if traveling from one client to another in same day
