Overview
We are seeking compassionate, dedicated Home Health Aides and Certified Nurse Assistants to provide exceptional in-home care to clients across various settings. This role is vital in supporting individuals with diverse needs, including seniors and individuals requiring specialized care such as Alzheimer's or dementia. The ideal candidate will possess strong caregiving skills, excellent patient observation abilities, and familiarity with medical documentation and EMR/EHR systems. Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor and document patient observations, vital signs, and health status using Amada Senior Care systems applications
- Medication reminders (ie client will generally have meds prepared before a shift) Amada Senior Care is non-medical
- Provide specialized care such as Alzheimer's, dementia or respite care for the family
- Operate medical equipment safely (ie wheelchair, Gait belt, walkers, Hoyer lift)
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed (ie consult plan of care via app)
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and cleaning to maintain a safe environment
- Maintain compliance with all safety standards and healthcare regulations
- Provide transportation to run errands using the Caregiver's vehicle or the client's vehicle.
Requirements
- Certifications such as HHA or CNA must be current in the state of Florida
- Certifications such as CPR or BLS must be current in the state of Florida
- Prior experience in home health, nursing homes, assisted living, or long-term care preferred (ie verfied 1 year of related work experience)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medical records management via an app on your phone required
- Ability to work independently while adhering to care plans and protocols
- Strong patient observation skills
- Employee must adhere to the physical requirements as a Caregiver
- Current state of Florida Driver's License, current car insurance with a reliable vehicle is required
- Caregiver must be fluent in English but bilingual is always a plus (Spanish)

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
