Description
Wilmot Union High School is seeking a dedicated, student-centered individual to serve as the JV2 Girls Basketball Coach. The coach will support the development of student-athletes by promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, skill development, leadership, and a positive athletic experience aligned with the values of the Wilmot athletic program.

Qualifications
Qualifications
Previous coaching and/or playing experience in basketball preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to positively motivate and mentor high school student-athletes
Commitment to sportsmanship, teamwork, and student growth
Ability to work collaboratively with coaches, staff, students, and families
CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Must meet all WIAA and district coaching requirements
Essential Responsibilities
Plan and conduct practices focused on skill development, teamwork, conditioning, and game strategy
Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, travel, and team activities
Promote positive sportsmanship and appropriate conduct among players
Support the overall goals and expectations of the girls basketball program
Communicate effectively with athletes, families, and school staff
Assist with program organization, equipment management, and team logistics
Encourage academic success and personal growth among student-athletes
Maintain compliance with all district, conference, and WIAA policies and procedures
