The Opportunity: Early Intervention PTA
We are seeking an energetic and caring Physical Therapist Assistant to join our full-time team. This is a Monday through Friday position focused primarily on the Illinois Early Intervention (EI) program.
- Target Area: Caseload primarily serves children in the 60490 zip code and surrounding areas (Bolingbrook).
- Flexible Caseload Design: We build your caseload to be within a small radius around your home to maximize clinical time and minimize travel.
- Autonomy: This role involves significant independence. The ideal candidate can manage their time effectively with a strong sense of accountability and independence.
- Impact: You will work closely with infants and toddlers with diverse diagnoses, helping them achieve crucial motor milestones and functional goals.
As an Early Intervention Physical Therapist Assistant, you will...
- Intervention & Planning: Carry out, and modify individualized Physical Therapy Plans of Care using evidence-based interventions with supervision from a Physical Therapist
- Family Coaching: Develop and instruct families and caregivers on effective home exercise programs to ensure therapy carry-over.
- Documentation: Complete daily SOAP notes in a timely manner.
- Collaboration: Maintain strong communication with families, therapists, children, caregivers, and other medical and non-medical professionals.
- Service Delivery: Conduct therapy sessions face-to-face in home/community settings or via telehealth.
- Professionalism: Maintain your own schedule, refer out to appropriate medical professionals, and potentially supervise students.
