We are seeking a Full time Night Auditor and Evening shift clerk to join our hospitality team. The Night Auditor plays a vital role in ensuring smooth overnight operations, maintaining guest satisfaction, and managing financial transactions. Teh evening shift works 3PM to 11PM. Both positions require strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and familiarity with hotel management systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality management and guest services, with the ability to handle front desk responsibilities during overnight nd evening hours. Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus to enhance guest relations and communication. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic resort environment, providing essential support for our 24-hour operation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee nightly financial reconciliation, including balancing accounts and preparing reports
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures during overnight hours
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and modifications
- Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy following phone etiquette standards
- Monitor security and safety protocols throughout the property during night shifts
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry and updating guest information in hotel management software
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area for a welcoming environment
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs or facility issues
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel management, front desk operations, or guest services is preferred
- Knowledge of hospitality management systems and night audit procedures is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and problem resolution
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for effective communication with diverse guests
- Excellent phone etiquette skills and experience handling multi-line phone systems
- Previous hotel or resort experience will be considered an asset
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high standards of professionalism and attentiveness
