Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sales and Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing, fabricating and installing screen doors and screen windows. This role requires experience with power tools, attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Sales and Service Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service and support.
Responsibilities
- Drive a company pickup truck with trailer.
- Capably operate a mitre saw, power drill and various hand tools.
- Measure doorways and windows and possess basic math skills including use of fractions.
- Repair, fabricate and install screen windows and screen doors.
- Invoice jobs accurately and collect payments.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding service or repair needs and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all work activities.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service processes and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies and best practices related to equipment maintenance.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record acceptable to the company’s commercial auto insurance carrier.
- Proficiency in using power tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong math skills.
