CNC Lathe Machinist
Company Name and Location: C&R Manufacturing, Inc. 6790 Martindale Rd., Shawnee, KS 66218
Hours: First shift 7am-3:30pm with overtime as needed
Pay is flexible depending on experience.
Duties:
· Setup and operation, and programming of CNC lathes and swiss turn lathes to make precision finished products in a production environment
· Perform preventive maintenance to machine as needed
· Monitor machines and make necessary adjustments
· Ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments
Qualifications Needed:
-Must be 18 years old
-2-5 years CNC machinery experience required
-Ability to read blueprints
-Ability to use calipers, micrometers and other measuring equipment
-Calculate tool offsets
-Recognizing tool wear and replacing or changing worn tools
-Mechanically inclined and great math skills
-CNC programming experience a plus
