Child Care Aware is a local NWA non-profit that has supported our community for over 30 years! We are a resource for families and child care providers and are the Benton County Local Lead for early childhood educators. We provide professional development, technical assistance, and advocacy for child care providers and families.
We are seeking a motivated, energetic, and relationship-focused Professional Development Educator/Trainer to join our team. In this role, you will provide early childhood education, parenting classes, and professional development training while building strong partnerships with professionals across the early childhood community.

Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver high-quality early childhood education, parenting classes, and professional development training for early childhood educators and families.
- Facilitate engaging in-person and virtual trainings using adult learning principles.
- Register all training sessions and classes in the Professional Development Registry (PDR).
- Complete required monthly reports and maintain accurate training documentation.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with early childhood professionals, families, community partners, and stakeholders.
- Present at meetings, conferences, and community events to promote professional learning opportunities.
- Provide technical assistance, coaching, and support to early childhood educators as needed.
- Collaborate with staff to identify training needs and develop educational materials and resources.
- Utilize technology, including Microsoft Office and Zoom, to deliver virtual training and maintain program records.
- Stay current on best practices and emerging trends in early childhood education and family engagement.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience working with early childhood professionals.
- Experience providing early childhood education, parenting education, or professional development training.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong grammar.
- Strong public speaking, presentation, and group facilitation skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong computer and technology skills, including Microsoft Office and Zoom.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Self-motivated, creative, disciplined, and able to work independently.
- Positive attitude with the ability to engage, motivate, and inspire adult learners.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism.
Travel Requirements
- Some travel is required to conduct trainings, attend meetings, and support community partners.
- Mileage reimbursement is provided for approved work-related travel.
