Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Industrial Electricians for an immediate start in Fremont, CA!
WEEKLY PAY --- OVERTIME --- PER DIEM
- PAY: $50.00/hour
- PER DIEM: $100/day for days worked
- HOURS: Shifts will be 10-hour workdays, 5 days per week (50+ hours/week)
- SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday-Friday; 7:00am – 5:30pm
- START DATE: ASAP
- DURATION: 3+ months
Job Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment
- Install and terminate electrical wiring, conduit, cable tray, and raceway systems
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and one-line diagrams
- Perform electrical installations in accordance with the NEC and project specifications
- Troubleshoot motors, controls, transformers, panels, disconnects, and other electrical equipment
- Test electrical systems and components using meters and other diagnostic equipment
- Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance
- Identify electrical hazards and maintain a safe work environment
- Work with other trades and project teams to coordinate installations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company and site-specific safety procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical experience
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification required
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and components
- Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and drawings
- Experience with conduit installation, wire pulling, terminations, and electrical equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems effectively
- Knowledge of NEC requirements and electrical safety practices
- Must have reliable transportation and the ability to report to the job site consistently
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be safety-conscious and able to work in an industrial construction environment
