Direct Care Professional Summary
The clients we serve are seeking a Direct Care Professional to help assist with day-to-day goals and life skills. Experience in caregiving, education, or working with individuals with an intellectual or developmental disability, whether in a private residence or group home.
Direct Care Professional Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist Individuals as they develop and maintain skills to improve their daily-living and social skills. Assist your client with daily tasks and goals.
- Engage in activities with Individuals to live more independently within the community and/or be more productive and participatory in community life.
- Maintain annual 24 hour state mandated training requirements.
Direct Care Professional Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Comply with state mandated policies, standards, and regulations
- Complete given background checks
- Valid Driver's License and existing insurance
- Willing and able to drive individuals in personal car throughout the community
