Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing residential and commercial swimming pools, ensuring they are clean, safe, and functioning properly. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work independently while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular pool cleaning and maintenance tasks, including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces.
- Test water chemistry and adjust chemicals as necessary to maintain safe swimming conditions.
- Inspect pool equipment for proper operation and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, chemical levels, and equipment repairs.
- Communicate with clients regarding service schedules, pool conditions, and recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed while working on-site at client locations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in pool cleaning and maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair pool equipment.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor when interacting with clients.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet service deadlines.
- A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.
