Pacesetter Personnel Services is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator in Houston, TX 77030.
Job Duties:
- Safely operate skid steers, excavators, and telehandlers on active construction sites.
- Excavate, grade, trench, backfill, and move dirt, rock, and other materials.
- Load, unload, transport, and place materials using heavy equipment.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Read and follow grade stakes, site plans, and supervisor instructions.
- Assist with general labor duties when equipment is not in operation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area while following OSHA and company safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating skid steers, excavators, and telehandlers.
- Ability to safely operate heavy equipment in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Experience performing daily equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Weekends as needed.
Pay: $26-28.00 an hour. We pay weekly.
Pay may increase depending on experience and work performance.
