Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse Laborer to join our team. As a Warehouse laborer, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, performing quality control checks, and ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse. This is a manual labor position - you will be working in a non temperature controlled warehouse. Duties would include but not limited to; working outside / in warehouse daily, filling orders, prepare pallets for LTL shipments, packaging ground orders, maintaining cleanliness of warehouses and property, forklift certified is a plus – however if you are not certified we can accommodate, help maintain stocked inventory of the descalers we manufacture.
We work 40 hrs a week Monday-Friday, arriving by 8am and departing around 4:30-5pm daily with lunch being from 11:30-12:30 daily.
Responsibilities:
- Industrial Chemical manufacturing : we manufacture chemical descalers. Check out our website for more information regarding our products themselves. (www.dynamicdescaler.com)
- Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and adherence to company standards
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts and manual pallet jack
- Box up small packaging for ground shipments (typical weight is 55-75 lbs).
- Organize and stock inventory in designated locations within the warehouse
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisor to identify areas for process improvement
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe working environment
-Communicate with office management for outgoing shipments.
Qualifications:
- Should be capable of standing for 8hrs a day.
- Capable of working in all weather conditions.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar outdoor environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks
- Ability to lift heavy objects (75+ lbs) and perform physical tasks as required
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
